AN DANNSA DUB + Support DJ BEARKAT (BEAT CIRCUS)

“The roots of folk and dub are deeply intertwined. An Dannsa succeeds in capturing the best of each tradition in a thoroughly original and exciting manner.” - Mungo’s Hi Fi (Scotch Bonnet Records) Music is one big conversation, and An Dannsa Dub sit right at the heart of it. Blending traditional Scottish folk, dub reggae, and modern dance music, the band creates a powerful, high-energy live experience that channels both the communal spirit of a cèilidh and the deep, bass-driven atmosphere of a sound system session. Their name, Gaelic for “The Dub Dance,” reflects their mission: to connect ancient Gaelic and West African rhythms with the evolution of reggae, dub, and contemporary electronic music. The result is a seamless, genre-defying fusion that feels both rooted and forward-looking.
