Obie Trice

A key figure in Detroit’s early 2000s rap scene, Obie Trice made his name as an Eminem protégé and Shady Records signee. His sharp wordplay and straight-talking delivery came to the fore on his platinum-selling 2003 debut Cheers, featuring tracks like ‘Got Some Teeth’, ‘The Set Up’ and ‘Don’t Come Down’. His story runs deep through hip-hop history, from his iconic introduction on Eminem’s ‘Without Me’ to contributions to 8 Mile, Devil’s Night and Tupac’s Loyal to the Game. Detroit-born and Shady Records-bred, Obie Trice brings the classics back to the stage.
