Son père, Tony Gullage, a joué aux côtés de Dr. John ou Henry Butler, sa grand-mère, Sister Alberta Gullage, enregistrait déjà du gospel dans les années 60. Il est même apparenté à la légende Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter. Le premier album « Go Be Free », coproduit par Tom Hambridge (producteur de Buddy Guy), est lancé le 23 août. Il y invite le flamboyant Christone “Kingfish” Ingram — preuve que le futur du blues se construit ensemble.
